TIPTON, Charles G. age 79, of Dayton, OH, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2004. Charles retired from Inland-GM. Preceded in death by his wife- Della, & brother-Bill, survivors include his 2 sons-Charles Robert Tipton, & Jerry Lee (& Phyllis) Tipton, both of Vandalia; 2 grandchildren-Michelle & Brad; great-grandson-Brad, Jr.; 3 sisters-Kate Hall & Lena Case, both of Vandalia, & Sandy Stamper, Dayton; & 2 brothers-James Tipton, & Albert Tipton, both of KY. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, Feb. 13, at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel, 716 Watervliet Ave. Rev. Jesse Clay Tipton officiating. Interment Valley View Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
