Sophfronia Spurlock
Sophfronia Spurlock, 71, of Middletown, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, at the Drake
Center in Cincinnati.
She was born on Dec. 5, 1932, in Jackson, Ky., the daughter of Magoffin F.
Watkins and Lillie (Haddix) Watkins.
Sophfronia is survived by her children, Doug (wife Babette) Simpson of Trenton,
Faye (husband Jerry) Glossip of Franklin, Patty (husband Steve) Lowe of
Middletown, Beverly Simpson of Middletown, and Brenda Johnson and Donna South,
both of Trenton; 11 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a grandson, Paul David Robinson.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home.
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of
Middletown.
