EFFIE MONTGOMERY Effie (Eva) J. Connor Montgomery, 84, formerly of Danville, died Saturday, January 15, 2000 at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital Extended Care. Born, December 12, 1915 in Estill County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Nanny White Johnson. She was the widow of John Conner. She was a retired employee of Arnold's Greenhouse and a member of the Herrington Lake Pentecostal Church. Survivors include: one son, Billy Ray Conner, Harrodsburg; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Three sisters and one brother preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 18, at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Hamp Wooten officiating. Burial was in Bellevue Cemetery in Danville. Pallbearers were Stanley Conner, Billy Conner, Jr., Chad Wooten, Durand Lay, Derek Robinson and Darty Hart. |
