SAM GABBARD

Sam Gabbard, 92, Windsor Drive, widower of Alva Miller Gabbard, died Thursday at Kenwood House, Richmond.

A native of Estill County, he was the son of the late Isaac and Lena King Gabbard. He was a retired welder and an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a stepson and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Elwanda Allen, Irvine; a sister, Eva Reed, Liberty, Ind.; step-granddaughter, Ratonya Allen, Irvine, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Lewis Funeral Home, Irvine, by Rev. Doyle Spry.

There will be no visitation.
