Hilda Evans, 88, of Johnstown, formerly of Columbus, died at Northview Senior Living Center on Monday, October 13, 2003. Hilda was born to the late Isom and Mattie Ballard on July 7, 1915 in Irvine, Kentucky. Survived by her three sons, Arnold "Chuck" (Barbara) Tuggle of Johnstown, Roy (Connie) Tuggle of Croton and Harry "Bucky" (Nancy) Evans of Virginia Beach, Va.; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Howard J. Evans and devoted friend Bobby Harris. Graveside service will be held at Obetz Cemetery on Thursday, October 16, 2003 at 10 a.m. with Dan Hamilton officiating. CROUSE-KAUBER-SAMMONS FUNERAL HOME, Johnstown, serving the family.
