Sadia WHISMAN Durham

Sadia W. Durham, age 87, of Peachtree City, Georgia, formerly of Camden, Ohio, died Monday, April 21, 2003. She was born August 9, 1915, in Estill County, Kentucky, the daughter of Owen Walton and Phamy Walton Whisman.
On August 27, 1933, she married Elbert Durham. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Teresa (Glen) Weber of Peachtree, Georgia, formerly of Camden; one brother, George Whisman of Houston, Texas; five granddaughters, Carol (John) Herdic of Peach tree City, Georgia, Kimberly (A.J.) Cohen III of Denver, Colorado, Kathryn Weber of Fairburn, Georgia, Christina (Tommy) Jackson of Greensboro, North Carolina, Conda (Harvey) Halcomb of Lake St. Louis Missouri; and nine great-grandchildren, Scott and Julie Herdic, Addison and Chaya Cohen, Chelsea, Cody and Connor Jackson, Zachariah and Rachel Halcomb. Her parents, her husband, her half sister, Elsie Ward and numerous step-brothers and step-sisters, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held Saturday April 26, 2003, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Nein-Thompson Funeral Home, 249 N. Main Street, Camden. Funeral services will be held immediately following visitation Saturday April 26 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton.
