Robert Chaney

Robert E. Chaney, age 77, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away at Vitas Hospice-Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Sunday, May 11, 2003. He was born on January 2, 1926, to Jesse and Lula (Wilson) Chaney in Estill County, Kentucky. On June 7, 1952, he married Audrey D. Cox in Ravenna, Kentucky.
He was a Lab Technician for Beckett Paper Company and retired in 1988.
Robert was a member of Washington Lodge, #17 F. & A. M., Shriner and was a Tennessee Squire. He also served his country in the United States Army in the Korean War.

Robert is survived by his wife, Audrey Chaney; daughters, Teresa Spurlock (Chris Allen), Marcia Larison (Craig Tishue), Brenda (Rob) Corner; five sisters, Gloria Allen, Becky Webster, Jeanette Nickol, Betty Tarrou, and Cathy Richardson; five grandchildren, Jimmy Spurlock, Ryan and Gena Larison, Kayla and Kendal Corner; and two great-grandchildren, Britanie Spurlock and Taylor Snader. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers - Jesse, George, and Leo Chaney.

As per Mr. Chaney’s request, there will be no funeral service. Cremation arrangements have been made with Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vitas of Hamilton, 630 Eaton Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio.
