Warren Billings

Warren Billings, 77, of West Elkton, Ohio, died Saturday morning, March 6, 2004, at Grandview Hospital in Dayton.

He was born in Estill County, Ky., on Aug. 11, 1926, to Birk and Mallie (Chaney) Billings. He was a former member of the Odd Fellows Lodge in Gratis. He had worked for Blake Steel in Middletown.

He is survived by seven children, Suzanne Billings, Linda (Frank) Brock, both of Huber Heights, Ohio, Gary (Linda) Billings of Rockledge, Fla., Tammy Katzenbach of Dayton, Ohio, Debbie (Frank) Bein of Apopka, Fla., Mike Billings of Middletown, Ohio, and Don Billings of Ohio; and four sisters, Kathryn Reed, Crystal Spencer, and Ida Reed, all of Stanton, Ky., and Edna Dawes of Ravenna, Ky.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbye; a brother, Ernest Billings; a sister, Nan Billings; and a granddaughter, Dawn Marie Billings.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 11, at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home in Gratis, Ohio, with Pastor Rex Burger officiating. Burial will be in Fairmound Cemetery, West Elkton. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
