April 17, 1809
Road Districts- All North on the Kentucky River including settlements, beginning above Thomas Campbell, out at right angles to the Montgomery County line, designated as the upper precinct, with Bartlett Woodward as Supervisor Overseer.
All that part of the county between Thomas Campbell and Calloways Creek, including all the settlements upon the river on the North and South sides that lies between the South side of Station Camp Creek and big Doe Creek, designated as the Cow Creek precinct, with Bennett Clark and Jones Hoy as overseers.
All that part of the county which lies between Twin Creek and the Kentucky River, between the mouth of Calloways Creek and up to the head, including the settlements on the West side; and from the mouth of Twin Creek to the mouth of Red River, including all settlements between the Kentucky river and Red River, designated the Forks precinct, with Jesse Cobb as overseer.
All the remaining part of the county on the North side of the Kentucky River shall be designated the Red River precinct, with Peter Evans as overseer.
And all that part which lies between Twin Creek and the Kentucky River, between the mouth of Calloway Creek and up to the head, including the settlements on the West side, and from the mouth of Twin Creek to the mouth of Red River including all settlements between the Kentucky River and the Red River. The Precinct be called the Fork Precinct, Jesse Cobb as overseer.
That part upon Station Camp above Crooked Creek and down Station Camp on the East side as low as Coyle ford, be known as Crooked Creek Precinct with James White as overseer.
All that part that lies South of the Trace leading from Harris Massis to Joel Estes, be called the Drowning Creek Precinct with Henry Beatty as overseer.
All the rest of the county on the South side of the Kentucky River be called Clear Creek Precinct with Benjamin Holladay as overseer.
