Besides her own eleven children, Catherine (Granny Tuttle) [1840-1939] raised three Tuttle granddaughters following their parents’ deaths and two Tuttle grandsons after their father remarried: Standing L-R--Dolly, Ernest, Hazel, Omer, and Thelma. In all, Catherine and William V. Tuttle had over sixty grandchildren.
