Mrs. Ruth T. James, the widow of former Senator Ollie M. James,
died Saturday, Sept. 16th, 1961 at their home in Washington, D. C.
Her death followed a lengthy illness.
Like her husband, she was a native of this county.
Mrs. James was married to Senator James in 1903 just after he was
elected to Congress.
Mrs. James continued to live in Washington after the Seantor's death
in 1918.
