James Shewmaker- James W. Wilson

This indenture made and entered into this the 27th day of September 1847 between James W. Wilson
of the county of Crittenden and State of Kentucky of the one part and James Shewmaker of the County
and State aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that whereas the said James Shewmaker is indebited to
the said James W. Wilson in the sum of about fifty dollars.......said Wilson in the payment of this indebitedness the said Shewmaker have this day bargained and sold and conveyed unto the said Wilson all of his growing
crop of tobacco supposed to be about four hundred acres and all of my present crop of corn and one waggon
to have and to hold ........from me my heirs or asigns & from all persons or persons whatever unto the said Wilson his heirs or asigns forever nevertheless should said Shewmaker pay or cause to be paid the sum of indebitedness on or before the first day of Jany next then this indenture to be null and void otherwise to remain in law (or equity).

Henry R.D. Coleman - Isaac Sisco

This indenture made and entered into this the 10th day of June 1847 between Henry R.D. Coleman
of the County of Crittenden and State of Kentucky and Isaac Sisco of the County and State aforesaid
of the other part witnesseth that the said Henry R.D. Coleman for and in consideration of the sum of
two hundred dollars in hand paid the receipt whenof is hereby acknowledged hath this day bargained and
sold a lien conveyed and do by these presents bargain and sell a lien convey unto the said Isaac Sisco a
certain tract or parcel of land containing one hundred acres more or less lying & being in the County of Crittenden on the waters of Clay Lick Creek bounded as follows towit beginning on a white oak thence N20 W180 poles to a post oak original ....thence S70 W87 poles to a stake in original line thence S20 E180 poles
to a walnut in the south line of said survey thence to the beginning containing by survey 98 acres with the apper.....to have and to hold free from the claim or claims of the said his heirs and asigns forever free from the
claim or claims of himself his heirs and every other person claiming under him whomever and doth warrant defend unto the said Sisco his heirs and asigns forever from the claims of his heirs and asigns and from the
claim or claims of every other person whatsoever given under my hand and seal this the date above written.

Henry R.D. Coleman

Know all men by these presents that we the undersigned Citizens of the County of Montgomery State of Tennessee have this day bargained and sold to John Hickendorn of the County of Crittenden State of Kentucky our interest in say one half of a certain tract of land lying in the said County of Crittenden State of Ky known as the Chickasaw Mill....Distillery with all its appartinances for the sum of two thousand one hundred & twenty five dollars which is to be paid in four annual installments as follows viz: one note for the sum of five hundred & thirty one dollars and twenty five cents payable twelve months after date another note for the same amount payable two years after date another note for the same amount payable three years after date & another note for the same amount payable four years after date ....furthermore bind ourselves heirs executors & asigns after a full and satisfactory payment of the above named notes to give unto said Jno. Hickendorn his heirs executors or asigns a full right and title to the above named property or such title as is in (over) us vested.
In testimony whereof we have this day annexed our hands & seals this 22nd day of February One Thousand Eight Hundred & forty Eight

This indenture made this 27th September in the year 1848 between Henry R.D. Coleman of the County of Crittenden and Commonwealth of Kentucky of the one part and Isaac Sisco of the County and Commonwealth aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said Coleman for and in consideration of fifty dollars in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the sd Isaac Scisco his heirs and asigns all that tract or parcel of land situate and liens? in the County of Crittenden on the waters of Clay Lick Creek and being the same that adjoins him and the Southeast end of the survey pottid? in my name beginning on a white oak corner made by said Scisco and John Sanders in Sutherland's line South 20 East passing E.Reeses corner to a Spanish oak & Black oak thence N 50 East 100 poles to a white oak the beginning of the original survey thence N 50 West 60 poles to a white oak Ralphs corner thence to the beginning with a line marked out by Scisco and Sanders including the South East end of the said survey containing forty acres .......same more or less together with all and (singular?) the appurtenances this unto belongining or in any wise appurtaining to have and to hold the land hereby conveyed with the appurtenances unto the said Scisco his heirs and asigns against the claim or claims of all and every person claiming the same I do hereby warrant and defend.......(next page not copied)



Casey Vaughn - Isaac Sisco

This indenture made and entered into this 22nd day of September 1857 between Casey Vaughn of the County of Sumner in the State of Tennessee of the first part and Isaac Sisco of the County of Crittenden in the State of Kentucky of the second part witnesseth that the said Vaughn hath this day for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Sisco all that certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of Crittenden State of Kentucky and on the waters of Clay Lick Creek and bounded as follows towit Beginning on a white oak and dogwood thence N76 W200 poles to a dogwood and hickory corner on Trimble's line thence 120 poles to a white oak and ...........in Sutherland's line S26 E94 poles to a white oak thence N2 E25 poles to a double white oak thence N15 E41 poles to a stake on the south side of Elishu Riley's spring Branch thence N26 E41 poles to a stake near the school house line N35 W37 to the Beginning to have and to hold unto the said Sisco his heirs and asigns forever free from the claims of the said Vaughn his heirs and asigns forever and the said Vaughn hereby covenants to and with the said Sisco that he will forever warrant and defend the Right and Title to the land conveyed in this deed against the claims of any and all all persons claiming the same or any part thereof

This indenture made and entered into this 24th day of December 1857 by and between R.G. Stewart agent and attorney in fact for Martha Rentfro, Charlotte W. Walker and Martha A. Rentfro of the one part and Preston Sisco of the County of Crittenden and State of Kentucky of the other part witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred and twenty five dollars to be paid as follows two hundred to be paid first of March next two hundred dollars to be paid first of March 1859 and two hundred and twenty five dollars to be paid first of March 1860 hath granted bargained and sold unto said Sisco all that tract piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County and State aforesaid on the waters of Clay Lick Creek and the same deeded by H.R.D. Coleman to John S. Rentfro the 25th ....1850 which deed is now of Record in the Crittenden County Court Clerks Office and willed by John S. Rentfro to the parties of the first part and bounded as follows Beginning at a black walnut Isaac Siscos corner thence with his line North 20 West 180 poles to a stake in the (Sack?) line of the original survey thence South 70 West 96 poles to a hickory corner to original survey thence South 20 East 180 poles to ( two gums?) corner to original survey thence North 70 East 96 poles to the beginning containing one hundred and eight acres by survey be the same more or less together with all and singular the appertinances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining into the said Sisco his heirs or asigns forever and free from the claim or claim of the said Martha A. Rentfro, Charlotte W. Walker and Martha A. Rentfro and free from the claim or claims of any and all persons whatsoever claiming or to claim in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand this day and date first above written.
