On motion of Mrs. Caroline Noe, widow of R. Noe & it appearing to the satisfaction of the court, that R.(andolph) Noe departed this life on the __ day of January 1880 in this county intestate. It is therefore ordered by the court that she be & she is hereby appointed as administrator of said decedent’s personal estate where she appeared in open Court and took the oath required by law. W.J. L Hughes & P.H. Wood as her sureties. On motion of Caroline Noe, it is ordered that W. T. Mayes, L. H. Paris & Joseph T. Wilson be appointed appraisers of said decedent’s personal estate.
(No burial location is noted for Randolph Noe in Crittenden County cemetery books.) Cynthia Caroline Ragsdale Fowler Wheeler Noe is buried in the John Wheeler Cemetery located on Hwy. 506.)
(Caroline Ragsdale was first married to Robert Fowler, second to Henry C. Wheeler [15-Sept-1850, Crittenden County] and third to Randolph Noe, [31-Dec-1874, Crittenden County.]

Book 6, page 367, Feby 9, 1880
Where as a petition has been filed in this court by some of the voters of the Bells Mines Precinct, stating the school house as the Nunn, or Mt. Vernon School House in which house the voters of said Precinct has heretofore recognized as their proper place in which they held their elections under the law of this State & that said school house has been torn down or removed to the place known as the Walker or Baker place, & asking that said Walker or Baker School House shall in the future be the proper voting place or the place in which the voters in said Precinct shall hold such election as they are required.

On motion of R. W. Taylor & S. W. Taylor and it appearing to the satisfaction of the court that James G. Taylor departed this life in this County on the 28th day of January 1880 intestate. It is therefore ordered by the court that said R. W. Taylor & S. W. Taylor be and they are hereby appointed Administrators of the said Decedents estate.

Book 6, page 414, August 7, 1880
On motion of D. P. Campbell and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that he is a man of good moral character & a minister of the United Baptist Church in good standing. It is therefore ordered by the Court that he be & he is authorized to Solemnize the rites of matrimony between parties legally authorized to receive the same in this Commonwealth. Where upon the said D. P. Campbell with P. M. Sisco as his security entered into & acknowledges bond to the Commonwealth of Ky conditioned according to Law, which bond is approved & accepted by the Court.

Upon John W. Jarrel’s application for a merchants License it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that he is a Merchant in good faith and his business is that of a retail Grocer and doing business at Lambs in said County. It is therefore ordered by the Court, that a License be granted him to sell spirituous drink or malt liquors in quantities not less than a quart, subject to the restriction imposed by the Statutes.

On motion of W. H. Ordway & it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that George W. Long departed this life in said County on the 25 of Oct 1880. It is ordered that W. H. Ordway be and he is hereby appointed Administrator of the Personal Estate of said decedent. Wm A. Adams, Thos. M. Hill & H. S. Hill be appointed appraisers of the personal estate of said decedent.

On Motion of Phillip Thurmond, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that he is a poor penniless aged man. He is hereby declared to be a pauper, & it is ordered that he be sent to the keeper of the poor house to be cared for as the law requires until further orders of this Court.

On motion of S. W. Taylor, and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that David Brown is now sick and unable and appeared before the Court & has no means of any character for support. It is therefore ordered by the court that he be & is hereby declared to be a pauper. It is further ordered that S. W. Taylor deliver him to the keeper of the Poor House to be cared for as the law requires.
