a. General Aff: Married to Sally Bishop, lives on Newfound.
PO Teges (Only time I've seen Newfound with Teges Address).

b. Description: Height 5'5", Fair Complexion, Blue Eyes, Light Hair. Born Aug. 12, 1839 in Clay. X his mark.

c. Statement: Squire and father William Bishop both enlisted together in same company . His father reported Squires age as 25 on Oct. 10, 1862.

d. Doctor Report: Weight 135 Lb. Height 5'9-3/4". (Conflicts with above).

e. Statement of Squire:I have resided in Owsley & Clay near the same place and close to where the counties join.

f. Aff:William J. Burns Age 55 in 1887. Address Doorway, Owsley County and Wiley Burns resident of Kingston Madison County.

g. Aff:John Abner of Buffalo Owsley, Age 47 in 1890. Lived 3/4 mile from Squire when war was over. Witness: Wille Gabbard & JB Gay of Buffalo.

h. Aff:John Baker Age 59 in 1887 of Buffalo.. PO Doorway, Owsley. Knew him for 30 years; lived 2 miles away from 1864 to 1875. Saw him every day.

i. Aff: William Burns Bishop: Age 62 in 1887, resident of Newfound Creek PO Narrows. I have known Squire since childhood and lived less than 1 mile from his father before the war. We do business together.

j. Aff:Samuel Combs - age 56 in 1887, Narrows resident.

k. Aff: John McIntosh - Age 72 in 1887, resident of Doorway, Owsley.

l. Aff:Delaney Barger - Age 68 PO Manchester, Was his Sergeant.

m. Aff:HG Sparks - Physician in Oneida (1904)

n. Aff:J.C. Bowling - Physician in Oneida (1904)

o. Aff:Sally Bishop Widow. Married Aug. 28 1861 Owsley County by W.M.Bolin.: Children: Zilphia b. 1862, Brice b. 1864, William b. 1866, WL (SP) b 1868, Steven b 1870, Esther b 1878, Maxilene b 1873, Mary Jane b 1880 , Jobe b 1883.
