a. Widows claim: Jane Kelly Bishop: Sextons Creek. Age 72 in 1916. Granville died in 1914, height 5'6", fair complexion, dark hair, a farmer born in 1844 in Clay. Resided 18 years in Madison County and the rest in Clay. The family bible burned. Jane was raised 2 miles from him. Resided in 1905 at Speedwell in Madison County.
b. Marriage Certificate: Aug 31 , 1865 at the home of William Kelly. Minister was Reuben McDaniel. James Kelly was present at the wedding; was brother of Jane.
c.After discharge was part of the 3 forks Battalion under Moses Treadway and James Eversole.
d. Children: Jane 1868, Minny 1870, Alcy 1872, Sarah 1875, Henry 1878, Laura, 1880, and George 1884.
