Several sources have confused this
Lucinda, Daniels daughter,
with T.T.s daughter, Lucinda, b.
1835/36 who is Daniels
granddaughter.
It is thought that the grandaughter was
living
with her grandfather in 1850 while her
father, T.T. was in CA
for the gold rush. Those in error
include James Welch 1850
Census, and Early Families Eastern
KY by William Kozee.

unknown how this family relates to the
Garrards.30 If these are
children of Thomas McRoberts, it is
unknown who has cared for
them in the 5 years since his death.
It is thought that
guardian means financial responsibility
rather than physical

assessment of Daniel:
Daniel Garrard was a skeptic,
though a moral man and a good

Governor Garrard was a Baptist
preacher but became tinged with
Unitarianism,perhaps through Mr. T.
[Harry Toulmin] his Secretary
of State whose daughter was Gen.
T.T.s mother. [and Daniel
Garrards wife.]17
