Deedbook N, p. 413-4, Know all men by these presants, that I, Levi Oliver, a citizen of Caldwell County and State of Kentucky, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to me in hand paid, the receipt of which hereby ackno wledged, and the other considerations herein after named, have this day bargained, sold, and conveyed, and by these presants, I do hereby bargain, sell, alien and convey unto Milton H. Carsons all my right, title, claim, and interest in and to the followi ng personal property herein described, to wit: one bay mair 3 years old, one gray horse about 10 years old, thirty head of hogs, one wagon and one yoke of oxen, one red and white pitted? and one pale red with white face and white along his back, one milk cow red and white speckled, one beauro mahogna front, also sixty acres of corn now growing, with the exception of the part that is goint for rent, also 3 plows and 2 pair of gear, also one feather bed and trimmings, and one bed stead, to have and to hold the above described property unto the said Milton H. Carson, his heirs and assigns forever, and I do further covenant and bind myself, my heirs, and assigns to warrant and forever defend the title of said property to the said Milton H. Carson, his heirs, and assigns forever against the claims of any and all persons whatsoever. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal, this the 20th day of June 1848.
