W B Davis's Will
I W B Davis of the County of Butler and state of Kentucky being of sound mind and memory and knowing the uncertainty of this mortal life do honly make publish and declare this my las Will and Testiment hereboy revoking all former wills by me made.
Item 1st
I desire that all funeral expenses shall be paid and that my just debts shall be paid.
Item 2nd
I give and bequeath unto my sister Mrs. Nancy W. Roark and to my nephew Ruric N Roork, son of my Sister Nancy W Roork and to Charles Arthur Davis son of my brother Samuel L Davis the sum of two hundred dollars each.
Item 3rd
I give and bequeath unto my sister Margaret C Davis All of the remainder of my property both real and personal and of any kind whatsover.
Item 4th
In the even that my Sister Margaret C Davis should die before I do and leave no issue I revoke items No 2 and 3 and give and bequeath one half of my estate to my sister Nancy W Roark and the remainder to be equally divided between my nephews Ruric N Roark and Charles Arthur Davis son of my Brother Samuel L Davis
Item 5
In the event that my sister Margaret C Davis should die and have no issue before I do and that my sister Nancy W Roork should also die before I do I revoke items No 2,3 and 4 and give one half of my estate to my nephew Ruric N Roark and one fourth to my nephew Charles Arthur Davis son of my Brother Samuel L Davis and the remainder to be equally divided between my two brothers Charles T Davis and Samuel L Davis.
In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the 29th day of July 1887.
