Nunley, Maude Newman Former Ashland Resident, Dies Mrs. Maude N. Nunley, 83, of 183 S. Hamilton Rd., Columbus, OH, died Wednesday in St. Anthony's Hospital in Columbus. She was a former Ashland Resident. Mrs. Nunley was born March 16, 1886 in Boyd County, a daughter of the late Sturgeon and Belle Clay Newman. A practical nurse for several years at King's Daughters' Hospital, Mrs. Nunley was also a member of the Fairview Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Paul Nunley of Columbus, and Eugene Nunley of Tuscaloosa, AL., a daughter, Mrs. Clyde Biehl of Columbus; a brother, Bascom Newman of Beaver, OH and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Fisher of Westwood, Mrs. Dorothy Hutchinson of Mt. Hope, WV., and Mrs. Olga Maggard of Fern Park, FL. The body is at the John Steen Funeral Home. She was preceeded in death by a son Ralph H. Nunley and a daughter Mary Nunley Toliver.
