Mrs. Henthorne Dies Following 3-Month Illness Mrs. Esther Henthorne, 86, of Grayson, formerly of Ashland, died at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in King's Daughters' Hospital, following a three months' illness. Mrs. Henthorne was born Jan. 24, 1880, in Cannonsburg, a daughter of the late Henry and Sophia Pollard Geiger. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Eastern Star, and a resident of Grayson for the past five years, moving there from Olive Hill. Surviving are one son, Jay G. Henthorne, Sr., of Grayson; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth O'Dell of Ft. Guy, and Miss Madge K. Henthorne of Santa Fe, N. M.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the John Steen Funeral Home by the Rev. H. B. Eiler. Burial will be in the Ashland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Friday.
