James F. Green died Sunday morning. James Floyd
Green, 77, retired farmer, died Sunday at 5 a.m. at the home of his
daughter, Mrs. Effie Darby, 1631 Greenup Ave, following a brief illness.
Mr Green, a native of Elliott Co., Ky had resided in Ashland for the
last 20 years. The body was removed to the Lazear Funeral Home,
where it will remain for funeral services which will be conducted
Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Reverend John McNurlin
officiating at the last rites. Burial will be made in the Hart cemetery,
Boyd Co. Surviving are one son, Earl Green, Portsmouth, Ohio; two
daughters Mrs. Darby , Ashland and Mrs. Nola Ison, Georgetown, South
Carolina; two sisters, Mrs. Allie Barber of Fullerton, Ky and Mrs. Mina
Blevins, Wurtland, Ky. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
