Stroke Is Fatal To A. A. Wilson - Stricken In Drug Store Yesterday A. A. Wilson, 68, suffered a stroke in Frailie's Drug store late yesterday afternoon which proved to be fatal. He was rushed to the King's Daughters' hospital but never regained consciousness and passed away at 4:30 o'clock this morning. Mr. Wilson, who was known by almost everybody in Ashland, and who was a familiar figure upon the streets, was for thirty seven years engaged in the general contracting business. The news of Mr. Wilson's death came as a distinct shock to his host of friends as well as members of his family. Yesterday afternoon he was among the spectators in the police court and was seen greeting his friends in his usual affable manner and none realized that it was for the last time. Mr. Wilson resided at 1312 Kentucky avenue. He was the son of Samuel and Drusilla Wilson, and was born in Rockbridge county, Virginia, February 24, 1862. He was united in marriage!
to Miss Annie Maud Griffith in 1888. He is survived by his widow, one sister, Miss Janet Wilson, one son, Willie D. Wilson, and one daughter, Miss Janet Wilson. Funeral arrangements have not been made pending the arrival of the son.
