This is a picture of Edna Hatfield Ross who was the daughter of Anderson and Docia Hatfield. Edna taught school and was a principal for many years in the Ashland school system. First Ward elementary school in Catlettsburg was later renamed Docia M. Hatfield School after Edna’s mother who was a teacher and principal there. I’ve also attached a picture of Hatfield School.
