Louise J WORD - 24 Dec 1852 - 13 July 1931
"Mrs. Louise Word, wife of Mr. Joel Word, died at the family residence in East Glasgow, Monday afternoon, at the age of 79 years.
"She is survived by her husband and five children; Warner D. Word of Louisville, Robert Word of Pittsburg, Pa., Murray Word, Mrs. Ike Story and Miss Nannie Word all of this place.
"Before her marriage (s)he was Miss Nannie Foster, a sister of the late Messrs. B. C. and Dollie Foster, and is the last of her greneration to pass on. She spent her entire life in and around Glasgow, where she was held in high regard. She was a devout member of the Methodist Church and was faithful to her duties. Last week she fell and broke her hip from which she failed to recover, and passed on to the Great Beyond.
"Funeral services wsere held at the residence yesterday, and the remains were laid to rest in the Glasgow cemetery.
