"Mr. Willie Wood died at the home of his father, Mr. R. F. Wood, near Coral Hill, last Monday morning
with blood-poisoning. He was about fifty years old, and had never been married. Mr. Wood was a clever,
genial, generous hearted young man, and his sudden death was heard with profound regret. The
remains were interred in the family burying ground, near his father's residence, yesterday, in the
presence of a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends."
