Died of cancer Wednesday, 23 Feb 2000, residence, age 60.
Born: Cave City, KY 25 May 1939.
Valdictorian of her senior class at Caverna High School. Active member of National Association of Realtors, the Tennessee Association of Realtors, and the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors. Involved with the Women's Council of Realtors at the national, regional, state and local levels and served terms as Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President and President of the local council. In 1991 and 1996 received Member of the Year Awards. Also served terms as President Elect, President, Assistant Executive Director and member of the Board of Directors of the Donelson-Hermitage Chamber of Commerce in Nashville. She had the vision to design and implement "Leadership, Donelson-Hermitage," a program to build the community leaders of tomorrow. Named Business Woman of the Year in 1991; received the Anna Wiggs Memorial Award in 1992; the Luton Mental Health Center's volunteer of the Year Award in 1995; nominated for the Mary Catherine Strobel Volunteer of the Year Award in 1993. Also served on the Board of Directotrs of the Nashville Traffic and Transportation Club.
