First part of the article is too light to read. Noted that he had been sick for about two months and the post-mortem examination discovered the facts that his death was caused by a cerebral hemorrhage.
"The deceased was a native of Glasgow. Born and reared in this county he had spent his entire life in and around Glasgow and was forty-eight years old at the time of his death. He was a man well known around town and in the county. He had for a number of years conducted a blacksmith shop on Green Street and through his business came in contact with many citizens and made many friends.
"His patrons were always loyal to him and some of them would never go anywhere else except to his blacksmith shop.
"He is survived by three sisters and one brother: Mrs. S. J. Jump, Mrs. Ida Lee, Mrs. Ellen Saunders and Mr. M. R. Williams, all of near Glasgow.
"The funeral arrangements have not been made and on this account we are not able to state the hour of funeral and burial."
