"MR. ED WILBORN ENDS OWN LIFE.

Bids Friends Goodbye, Steps Into Room And Drank Carbolic Acid.

"Last Saturday, about noon, Mr. Ed Wilborn left the immense crowd in town, walked to a drug store and bought a bottle of carbolic acid, went to his home on Front street, and in his proch, in view of his wife and a number of friends, waved his hand and called out, "Goodbye, everybody, I'm going," stepped in the room and drank the contents of the bottle, and was dead in a few moments.

"Mr. Wilborn was fifty-four years of age, and leaves his wife, who as Miss Kate Smith. He also leaves two brothers, Mr. Warner Wilborn of Nobob, Mr. Emmett Wilborn of California. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hulet Wilborn and was born and reared at Nobob.

"He had been living in Glasgow for many years and was a well-known horseman, and won a number of premiums in the fair, which he did not collect.

"Brief funeral services were held at the residence Monday morning, by Elder T. H. Alderson, and the body was then taken to White Grave yard near Sullphur Lick, where again brief services were held by Bro. Gaines and Alderson of this place, and the remains were then laid to rest beside those of his infant child."
