"Jerry M. Wells, died age 81. Lived in Bethel section. Survivors: wife and four children: Marshall, Edd and Joel Wells and Mrs. J. N. Matthews, all of same section of the county. Two sisters: Mrs. Dudley Piercy, Mrs. Elmore Broady and half brother Ben Wells. Half-sisters: Mrs. Ira Nickols and Mrs. Andy Nickols. Was a member of Methodist Church. Interred in Wells Cemetery."
