Born: Havana, Cuba
Daughter of: Carmen Miralles and Adolfo del Pino.
Occupation: Retired teacher, taught at Candler College in Havana and later in public schools of Dade Co. FL
Church: While in Cuba - Methodist - worked with Women's Society of Christian Service and was President of the Cuba Conference. After moving to Glasgow, attended Glasgow Baptist Church and was a member of the 3 L's" Sunday School class.
Survivors:
Daughter: Adolfina Vassuer and her husband Maxwell Simpson, Glasgow
Daughter-in-law: Lueila Muniz Vasseur of Miami
Granddaughters: Lydia Simpson and Conrad Crenshaw of Nashville, TN and Sylvia Simpson and Tyler Gill of Allensville
Great-grandchildren: Kurt SImmons of Franklin, TN and Emilie T. GIll of Allensville.
Great-granddaughter: Abbygayle Simmons of Nashville
15 step grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death also by husband: Dr. Pedro R. Vasseur
Services: 10 am Thursday, 25 March 1999, Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home, Glasgow, burial Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
