Born: Lafayette, TN
Son of: W. A. and Nanny M. Cook Turner, dec'd.
Graduate of Glasgow High School, member of the 1942 undefeated Glasgow High football team. Graduate of the University of Louisville and member of the football team there. Former employee of City Auto Electric and Automotive Parts and Shop, veteran of WW II serving in the US Navy. Member Glagow Baptist Church.
Survivors:
Wife: Carmelita Turner
Sons: Keith and wife Lora of Glasgow and Mark and wife Shirley of Hart Co.
Daughters: Joanne Steffey and hsuband James of Glasgow; Karen Stice and husband Barry of Brownsville, KY and Diane Turner of Glasgow.
15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
Preceded also in death by brother: Hollis D. Turner
Services: 3 pm Saturday, 3 March 2001, A F Crow and Son Funeral Home, burial Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
