"Mr. T. H. Trigg, a former sheriff of Barren county and a member of an old and prominent family of the county, was found dead in his room Saturday night about ten thirty.
"He was last seen alive by Mr. Taylor Foster, who was with him at ___ o'clock that evening, and who, upon returning later, found him dead in his chair.
"Deceased was a son of the late William Trigg, and his death removes the last member of the family.
"Mr. Trigg had served the town and county as an officer for a number of years, having been a deputy marshall and later marshall several years ago. This was followed by his term and deputy sheriff and then as sheriff of the county.
"Since the first of the year he had not held office and since that time he had been leading a very secluded life, ___ (rest unreadable). There was a short funeral service at the grave by A. D. Leitchfield Sunday P.M. at 4, Glasgow Cemetery."
