"Senie" attended public school in Cumberland Co, member CME Methodist Church. In 1958, moved to Glasgow and joined First Baptist Church where she remained a member until her death. Served as usher-treasurer for over 25 years, vice president of Gleaners Club. Chaired the Church Entertainment for several years. Worked as a houskeeper for Mrs. Nell Eaton for more than 30 years until her retirement.
Married Benton Barthel Stockton in 1945, he preceded her in death.
