Had resided in Glasgow since 1959. Retired as superintendent of Carnegie Steel Corp in Chicago, had
also worked as an engineer with the Atomic Energy in Paducah and was superintendent of the ATC plant
in Portsmouth, OH. Also held other posts with the Atomic Energy Commission. At one time was owner of
the Sulphur Creek Marina and Dale Hollow, later a staff member at Peninsula Marina on Barren River
Reservoir. 32nd Degree Mason, member American Legion, DAV and VFW, having served during World
War I. Member Glasgow-Barren County Chamber of Commerce, one of the charter directors of the
Barren River Rod and Gun Club.
Believed to be the oldest veteran in Barren County. A land developer, initiated Beaver Creek Heights
Subdivision, which includes Stewart Drive.

Grandson: Jonathan Stewart Cullom
Services: 2 pm Wednesday, Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home, burial Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
