"Mr. A. R. Spencer, a former Glasgow resident, died age 77. Daughter: Mrs. Alvin Beck of Louisville. Wife: Miss Nettie Grinstead. Daughters: Mrs. Beck and Mrs.D. Chapman of Hart Co. Sons: Simon and James of Louisville, Ky."
