Juda [Judy] SCOTT - 8 May 1827 - 17 Dec 1913
"Mrs. Juda Scott, one of the oldest and best known ladies of the section in which she lived, died at her home in Temple Hill last Wednesday morning, more from old age than any any specific complaint. She was ninety-two years old at her death, and is survived by seven children, we are; Mrs. W. H. Denham of Nobob; Mrs. Martha Jim Foster, Messrs. W. E. and Dick Scott, Misses Lucy and Sallie Scott, all of the Temple Hill country, and Mr. Geo. Scott, of Elk Creek, Neb. Her huband, who was Mr. William Scott, preceded her to the grave more than twenty years ago. Mrs. Scott was a splendid Christian lady, respected and esteemed by all who knew her, and will be missed and mourned most by those who knew her best.
"The remains were interred in the Peden Family buryhing-ground in the Temple Hill country, yesterday."
