Guy L. SCOTT - 11 Apr 1884 - 22 Feb 1907
Guy Scott, twenty-three years of age, was shot and instantly killed by Malcolm Taylor, a little boy of ten
years, at the home of Mr. Fox Gray near Nobob, this county, about noon Saturday. Several parties were
in the room, and the Taylor boy was playing with a gun supposed to be empty. He pulled both triggers,
and the load struck Scott in the back of the head, killing him instantly. Young Scott was the son of the
late G M Scott, of Temple Hill, but has been living in Glasgow, where he held a position in the furniture
factory, for more than a year, and was remembered as an excellent young man. the remains were
interred at Poplar Log.
