Guy Scott, twenty-three years of age, was shot and instantly killed by Malcolm Taylor, a little boy of ten years, at the home of Mr. Fox Gray near Nobob, this county, about noon Saturday. Several parties were in the room, and the Taylor boy was playing with a gun supposed to be empty. He pulled both triggers, and the load struck Scott in the back of the head, killing him instantly. Young Scott was the son of the late G M Scott, of Temple Hill, but has been living in Glasgow, where he held a position in the furniture factory, for more than a year, and was remembered as an excellent young man. the remains were interred at Poplar Log.
