Submitted by Sandi Gorin. She notes:
"I have no connection, no further information and am not seeking additional information."

"Mrs. Lena Richie Renfro, wife of Mr. Joe N. Renfro died at the family residence, corner of Washington and Broadway, Wednesday night of last week at the age of 47 years last September. She had been ill only a few days and her death was a great shock to her many friends. She was Miss Lena Everett before her mariage, and had one brother, Prof. Will Everett of sacred memory to many of our people. She was the last member of her generation to pass on. She was first married to Mr. J. R. Richie, who met a tragic death at the Lewis crossing, two miles out the rail road. From this union four children survive, all well and favorably known: Messs. Wallace, Ray and John Richie and Mrs. Leslie McCubbins.
Her second marriage was to Mr. Joe N Renfro, who survives her. Mrs Renfro was a devout member of the Baptist Church and no more pure hearted lady lived. She had as many friends as acquaintandces, and leaves a sainted influence on those she loved. The interment was in the Glasgow Cemetery after funeral services by Rev. J. R. Brunson,
conducted at the Baptist church at this place.
