"Mr. Millard Filmore Reneau, who would have reached his 87th birthday next month, died at his home
near Bruce Wednesday of last week. The son of the late Jonathan and Elizabeth Hill Reneau, early
settlers of Albany, Ky., he came to Barren county in 1899 and was a school teacher in the county a
number of years.
He was the last survivor of sixteen children.
"Two children survive: Joe O. Reneau, Bowling Green, and Mrs. J. B. Bybee, of Portage, Oregon.
"Funeral services were held at the Crow Funeral Home Friday, the Rev. J. L.
Piercy conducting the services. burial was in the Barbour cemetery."
