Mr. Arvin P. Ralston, former Barren countian, died of a heart attack at his home in Patterson, Calif., Wednesday night of last week.
"News of his death came as a distinct shock to his many Barren County friends and relatives. Mr. Ralston was one of the best liked young men who ever grew up in Glasgow. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Mr. Ralston was married to Miss Mary Kidd who preceded him to the grave three years ago. She as a native of Barren County.
"Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Max Denny and Mrs. Sarah Jane Ralston; his mother, Mrs. T. F. Ralston and one brother, Mr. Willie Ralston, all of Patterson, California. He was a nephew of Mr. Howe Ralston, this city.
"Funeral and brial services were held at Patterson last Saturday afternoon.
