I. A. "Lonnie" PEDIGO - 1856 - 30 July 1926

"Glasgow Loses 2 Well Known Business Men. "Lonnie" Pedigo. Mr. I. A. Pedigo, familiary known to his host of friends as Mr. "Lon" Pedigo, died at his home on Maple Driveway last Friday, at the age of 67 years. He was a native of the Hiseville country, but moved to Glasgow many years ago, where he has been in the livery business, until the autos drove him into the garage business. In his dealings with the public, he became intimately known to the traveling public and was popular with all who knew him. Paralysis brought him to the end.

"Mr. Pedigo is survived by his wife, who was Miss Sarah Jane Bryant, and eight children: Dr. Geo. W. Pedigo and Mr. Durwood Pedigo of this place, Mr. Baxter Pedigo of Clarksville, Tenn., Mr. Lawrence Pedigo of Rock Island, Ill., Mrs. Jake Mosby, Misses LaVerne, Mary and Margaret Pedigo all of this place. He was a member of the Baptist church and was a man of high ideals, and absolute honor. He leaves a rich legacy in his splendid children.

"Funeral services were held in the Baptist Church here Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J. A Easley. Burial was in the Glasgow Cemetery."
