"Mrs. Lola Oliver, 68, former resident of Glasgow, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. D. George, in Phoenix, Arizona, Tuesday morning. She moved to Arizona with her daughter three weeks ago after residing in Glasgow with her sister, Mrs. C. W. Froedge, for the past ten years.
"Mrs. Oliver had been in ill health for some time. She was held in high esteem by a host of friends throughout Barren County and was a saintly character in every respect.
"Besides Mrs. Froedge, she is survived by another sister, Miss Myrtie Travis and a brother, Mr. Hughie Travis, both of Glasgow; her daughter, Mrs. George, and a son, Mr. Sam Oliver, of Oklahoma City, Okla. Her husband has been dead several years. Burial was at Enid, Oklahoma."
