After mother's death at an early age, she helped raise her younger siblings. 1941 graduate of Glasgow High School; lived many years in Houston TX working in retail at Sak's Fifth Avenue. Retired and moved back to KY in 1980 to be closer to her family.

Two sisters: Norma Lyons and husband "Bobby" of Glsgow and Carolyn Everett of Houston TX
Many nieces and nephews.
