Submitted by Sandi Gorin. She notes:
"I have no connection, no further information and am not seeking additional information."

Mr. James J. McGlocklin died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Lessenberry, in the South Fork country, Tuesday morning, after an illness of several months.

Mr. McGlocklin was one of the best known men in the county, having at one time been an extensive and successful farmer. On account of his advanced age - seventy-seven years - he retired from farming several years ago and has since resided with his daughter, Mrs. Lessenberry. He was a good citizen, a most excellent man, and was highly esteemed by all.

Mr. McGlocklin was a faithful and consistent member of the Baptist church. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. George Lessenberry, Mrs. Mike Lewis, and Mrs. Henry Berry.

Funeral services were conducted at the home of Mr. George Lessenberry, Wednesday morning, by Rev. J. G. Taylor, after which the remains were interred in the Glasgow cemetery.

Unknown Glasgow KY newspaper, from the files of the late Birdie Lutzow.
