Charlie Mansfield

Charlie MANSFIELD - 6 Oct 1875 - 4 June 1933

"Mr. Charley Mansfield died at the home of his son, Mr. Lewis Mansfield, near Oil City, Sunday from the effect of a dose of carbolic acid; taken with suicidal effect.

"Mr. Mansfield had been in desperate health for several year, and becoming despondent decided to end it all.

"He was 58 years of age, and is survived by two sons, one living in Ohio, also a daughter living in Allen County.

"His wife died several yars ago. One brother, Mr. Tine Mansfield of Glasgow survives.

"Funeral services were held at Browder's Chapel, conducted by Bro. T. J. Tinsley, and the burial was in the Dearing Graveyard, near Haywood."

Note: He is buried at the Kinslow Cemetery near Haywood. Undated Glasgow Ky newspaper.
