"Miss Bettie Lockett, of Park, died last Monday of consumption. She was an upright Christian lady and leaves a large circle of friends to mourn her untimely death. Funeral services were held by Rev. Chandler Tuesday at 10 o'clock and the burial immediately afterwards."
