"For the past number of years, Mr. Hill has been the Glasgow representative of the wholesale grocery firm of J. D. Reynolds & Co., of Horse Cave. He had previously traveled for Belknap Hardware & Manufacturing Co., of Louisville and for a time was in the wholesale grocery business in Glasgow.
"Mr. Hill was a man of the highest honor, and his death is a real loss to the entire city.

"Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist Church Sunday afternoon and the remains were then taken to Horse Cave where they were placed on the train for shipment to Campbellsville for burial. Rev. J. L. Piercy conducted the services both at this place and at Campbellsville.
