"Mrs. Susan Elizabeth Highdon died May 1910. "Aunt Betty." At home of son Mr. Charles Higdon on Glasgow and Prewetts Knob road near Green Plot, age 82. Widow of John Higdon who preceded her in death 23 years ago. Member of Baptist church. Had ten children, 6 living; three sons and 3 daughters. Services held at the old David Owen homestead, the home of her father, after which was interred in the family Cemetery at the same place.
