Retired registered nurse who had worked for many years at T J Samson Community Hospital and the old state tuberculosis hospital in Glasgow. Also worked at Greenview Hospital in Bowling Green KY where she served as orthopedic nurse supervisor and at Cumberland County Hospital where she served as Director of ursing. During her working years she was active in the Glasgow Business and Professional Women's Club and in the making of ceramic and other craft items.
