"Mrs. Annie Hadden, office lady of the Overall Factory, died Monday night, just before midnight, of brain
or spine trouble. She was taken ill suddenly while in the office Saturday afternoon and called for a bus to
take her home. Soon after reaching home she became unconscious and never regained her mind. She
gradually sank into death.
"She was about 53 years of age, a daughter of Mrs. Sallie Myers of this place, who survives her. She also
leaves one son, Mr. Ben Myers Hadden of California, and the following brothers and sisters: Mr. Ernest
L. Myers, the well known planing mill man of this place, Miss Hettie Myers, also of this place, Mrs. Harry
Moran of Horse Cave, Mrs. Henry K. Hill of Louisville, Mrs. Dan Hatcher of Ft. Worth, Teas., all of whom
arrived for the funeral.
"Mrs. Hadden was born and reared in Glasgow and spent most of her life here, where she was held in
the highest esteem. She was a member of the Christian Church and was true to her obligations to her
Master.
"Funeral services were held in the home on West Washington Street yesterday afternoon by Bro.
Alderson, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Glasgow Cemetery."
